I create short stories paired with monochrome, surreal photography — quiet conversations between words and images. Each story lives in its own small world, where the ordinary bends gently toward the uncanny, and emotion lingers in both the language and the light.

About the Artist

I’m JJ Jordan, a visual and storytelling artist based in Surrey, UK. My practice weaves together fine art and creative photography, drawing inspiration from literature, surrealism, and the everyday complexities of memory and emotion. Each piece I create is a personal exploration—an attempt to capture the unseen narratives that shape our inner worlds.

Award-winning and twice recognised by the British Journal of Photography’s Portrait of Britain,
I am a proud member of the Royal Photographic Society (RPS) and Windsor Photographic Society (WPS). My work is inspired by literature, surrealism, and the power of personal narrative—created with a resolutely human touch.
